This page is dedicated to anything that I have created over the past five years. These works represent my growth, failures, and connection to art and its facets.
The Story of Ah Bing Animation
When I was a rising eighth-grader, I animated this video for my older brother, who at the time was interning at the Museum of Chinse in America. He chose to make a video about Ah Bing, the Chinese man behind the creation of the Bing cherry. This animation is what eventually inspired me to create the animated series for the Immigrant History Initiative.

Our Different Lives
This piece was made for an eighth-grade art class during the pandemic, where the assignment was to illustrate how you felt about the current circumstances. I used three pieces of paper and colored pencils to illustrate what life was like not only for me but for my friends and family. The center page represents my family, with my father on the couch watching TV, my brother wasting his time on his phone, my mother keeping the house tidy, and myself eating food. The left page represents my friends, one of them played guitar, another was learning how to cook, and the other was taking their dog out for a walk. The right page was more of a representation of what I was doing during the pandemic, which was a lot of weight lifting and working out.

Clay Pencil Cup
Originally made for Studio Art 3D Design and Sculpture, the assignment was to take three things found in life and combine them into one piece. These could be both natural or artificial things. I chose to combine a tree, a pine cone, and a pencil cup together.

Wolf Rider Trailer
In English 10, students were tasked to make any media for their outside reading book. The book I read at the time was called Wolf Rider (1986) by Avi. I really loved the book and wanted to make a trailer about it to get my classmates interested in reading it!

A Portrait of the Liberation of Dachau
As the final assignment in English 10, students were tasked to create a memorial piece dedicated to the numerous memorial sites around the world. I chose the Liberation of Dachau as my piece. It features Allied Soldiers rescuing and helping the malnourished and injured concentration camp victims, while also showing the hidden horrors the Nazis were responsible for.
